Hi, i just got my 2013 unlimited sahara a month ago.
This morning i went for a drive and noticed a crack in the winshield and within minutes it stretched across end to end.

It is winter here and so i can't be sure if the sudden change in temp caused it. Or a rock hit. Or if maybe my jk has an issue from the factory.
Plus, the replacement windshield will not have the decals on it. I love those little decals :-(

Anyone have a similar expieriance to shed some light? Thanks

Ya, my 2013 Sahara pressure cracked all on its own as I was sittin in it waitin for my girlfriend to get in, it proceeded to crack four more times that week this was all withing the second week of ownership less than 1000km

Same here at 1200km. The dealer is looking into replacing at no cost . Waiting for their response. Thanks

If you don't already have windshield coverage on your insurrance, get it now. I've put more windshields in this vehicle than I have put in all the other vehicles I have owned combined. These things are "rock magnets".

Yup i have insurance on windshield. The dealer just advised of a manufacturer defect. They are replacing at no cost!!!

damn, thats weird. Im on my second one in 1.5 years of ownership but rocks had them marked. :doh:

I got you all beat HAHA. Got my jeep in September.used 2010......3 days in..........rock kicked up from truck and smack..........got it fixed.........a week later i had some wood in my car and some a**hole stopped short and BAM......wood flew forward and destroyed the new windshield LOL.......so here I am 5 months and on my 3rd windshield.........yah me...............
Jeep............just empty every pocket.........

Well... now there is a tea kettle like whistlling since getting the dealer to replace the windshield. Really hoping that it is something they can look into right away because it is annoying.
