Talking 1st Jeep

Hey from Atlanta, GA

I bought a 2008 JK 4 months ago, and I LOVE it!! It's officially my new hobby, if i'm not working, working out, or doing the many things that come with being a Father and Husband, you can find me plotting my next upgrade for the JK.

The To-Do list for the up coming months consists of a 2.5 inch lift 18 inch Wheels and 35 inch Nitto Trail Grapplers. I can't Wait.. I will post pictures soon.

I have a small problem though the other day when attempting to start my Jeep it simply clicked and did nothing. After several attempts that all ended the same way it finally cranked up. I believe it is the Starter since it has done it a couple of times since. Any Suggestions. I installed a New Battery 500miles ago.

I can't help with your problem. My 07 does it as well. I usually just give the starter a few taps.
Also how are your battery terminal connections? Tight and might need cleaning

After the first click run your gear selector all the way down to first gear and back up to park. Try it again. It's guaranteed to start. It's the neutral safety switch. Mine does it also.

I hope that if you have had this happen again that the solution that I posted has worked for you.
