i'm looking at a new 2016 Rubicon and the seats (leather) are stitched with jeep instead of Rubicon. has anybody ever seen this?

I have not seen it. But I believe I have heard of it. Check the window sticker/ build sheet for Katzkin leather upgrade. If so the jeep gets sent out and upgraded leather is added. I think Katzkin only can/does put jeep in seats, not rubicon.

It's a brand new Jeep from the dealer with no miles on it ? A 2016 ? R U sure it's a Rubicon ? Some people actually just buy the sticker and put it on.

brand new on dealer lot sticker says premium sound and leather by mopar.

Mine are leather and have jeep lettering on them similar to these

Also another way to check if it's a Rubicon check to see if it has the axle lock and sway bar buttons on the left side of the drivers seat.
