Default AEV vs. Zone Off-Road Suspension Systems

Hello, sorry i'm a newbie here and have searched for the info i'm looking for on here and other sites, but can't seem to find my answer. I just bought a JKU Sport and looking to add a suspension system and tires.

In your opinion, what suspension system would you prefer and refer to someone wanting to run 35x12.50r20's? My JKU is my daily driver and will be off-roading a bit since I live in the country and our driveway is muddy at times, also I will be hauling my RzR and getting a little muddy getting to the deer stands.

I have been researching different suspension systems and have came down to 2 systems, either the AEV 3.5" or the Zone 4".
What would you go with or prefer is the best bang for my buck?

Thanks in advance.

Between those two the AEV hands down. The Zone 4" kit is missing a lot of stuff that you will like buy later to try an improve the ride.

Going with a 35x12.5x17 rather than a 20" wheel might save you a little money on tires, and look better with a little more sidewall for your 35. Personal preference I guess.

Thank you for all the feedback. Definitely going to go with 17s instead of the 20s. Anyone have any other lift recommendations other than the 3 already listed? What lift looks best with 35x12.50r17? Also, if anyone has any pics of theirs or someone's they know please feel free to post so that I can get an example of what the setup may look like. Thanks in advance!

Between AEV and Zone, I would recommend AEV simply for the on road performance is absolutely amazing. It will ride far better then stock and can be easily be removed later down the road if you wanted to try something different or sold the vehicle.

Other companies such as JKS, Rock Krawler, etc. produce suspension systems that will easily fit the needs and wants of what you have already mentioned.

If there is anything the team at Northridge4x4 can do to help you out please just give us call!

it is amazing that people think AEV is all hype when it comes to on road handling and ride. I am guessing you have driven about every suspension make out there at one time or another. Another bonus is used AEV lifts sell pretty fast and at a good return compared to most. I sold my used 2.5" AEV for $700 quickly.
