I have been in the Jeep family for quite some time now. I have a 2k XJ that has been through several different mods and lifts. Also built an XJ trail rig before I had to sell it due to financial reasons. I am currently looking to pick up a Unlimited Rubicon and trade in my XJ. She unfortunately is starting to show her age, and when I added it up would cost me about 20k to do what I want to do to her. So I figured I would just trade her in and get a new Rubi to play with. Promised my wife I wouldn't touch this one, lift/tire wise, for a good little while. Sooooo right now I am keeping my eye out for a 2007 slightly used by a yuppie who bought it cause it would be cool to have and didn't realize it wasn't going to ride like his lexus and trades it in. Plan to buy this fall, so right now I am just stopping by to say hi and will prolly lurk and learn in the process. In any event I am no newb to wheelin or wrenchin, but yet not an expert...lol

Yep it is a small world! I just got rotated up to Station 1 up off Holly Springs Road.

 

So you are no longer at the one off of Avent Ferry???

 

Not currently...we rotate between the two stations every couple of months...I should be back down there towards no top/no doors weather!

 

werd. I can say the past couple times I past there I didn't see your jeep. I normally don't go out that way, I go out the new hill holleman whatever rd that thing is called. I work in RTP so it's just easier to go that way.

 

Glad I dont have that drive everyday! Just let me know if you need anything...maybe you could convince the wife that the lift/tires are needed to improve the handling for those roads below your house!
