Default Checking in from Northern Virginia

Hello everyone. I have wanted a jeep for about 18 years now, and I finally purchased my very first one less than a week ago. Super stoked about getting out in the woods. I bought a white 2012 Unlimited Sport S. I have already purchased a soft top (Bestop Trek Top NX), and I'm now in the process of determining what type of lift, wheels, tires I want to slap on her. All this gearing vs. tire size vs. lift size is confusing. Looking forward to it all though, even though I'm definitely a noob. You'll probably see a lot of dumb questions out of me later!

Welcome and congrats on the new whip! The people on this forum really know what they are talking about so your confusion should turn to clarity pretty quickly.

I live in Alexandria. Not sure if you know where that is. A lot of my friends have gotten lifts done at a place called trick trucks they havent had any complaints. There are a few shops in the area.
