First Jeep advice needed
I'm brand new to this forum as I just bought my first jeep. With graduation only a month away I decided to trade in my truck and buy a JK and I love it. Being an 18 year old I definitely want to make it look awesome as it is mostly stock except for some after market Helo rims which wouldn't be my first choice but I like them better than stock. I'm going to be doing mostly city driving around but I will also be doing some highway driving when I go home on an occasional weekend and I'm definitely not a trail junkie or anything but I do want to be able to go off roading because what 18 year old boy doesn't. I want to put a couple inch lift on it and some 33 inch tires. Any tips or suggestions on a lift kits that do well for my situation and 33 inch tires that look mean but aren't too overly loud on a highway? thanks

As with any ^^ write up it all depends on budget! since your a young man i'm sure the budget is not the greatest.. so i'd shoot for a Budget boost or a spacer lift too suit your needs, as mostly hwy this won't be a problem at all and there easy to install with a few buddies. Stock tire size is close to 33 so won't make to much difference on your MPG hwy.
Not sure where you're from but I did the mirror relocation kit and love it. I love having stock look with doors off which is how i love to ride.. I live in FL you may not have that luxury. Last word of advice is that its a jeep NEVER leave anything in your jeep that you don't want stolen...
Read the OFFROADING 101 Thread on this forum. It will teach you a few simple things you should know before taking that trail too far. Lasty have fun and don't forget to wave!!

Look into the front stubby bumper caps that will let you turn your stock bumper into a stubby and add a Hoop for lights. Stock yet modified I think its gorgous. but I can't afford the bigtime mods either. 2 small children.
for tires i'd look into the DURATRAC's they seem to be quite popular on here... They will be my next set of tires.. I have an 07 still with stock tires only 56000 miles... i just cant see myself wasting 1300 bucks for tires when the ones i have are still perfect.
Cost isn't too big of a problem as I got a full ride football scholarship so I actually have more spending money than the average 18 year old but I also don't want to throw a bunch of money at anything. The first thing I want to do is put on a lift kit and new more aggressive tires. what kind of lift would you suggest to someone who is mainly going to be driving in city and highway and occasional off road? and also what type of tires do you think than look aggressive and do fine in the snow as I'm from Kansas but aren't too bad on the highway?
