First time jeep buyer
Hello forum,
I'm a first time Jeep buyer. Trading in my Expedition for a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock Silver Billet with dual tops and all the options I could cram into it. I started looking at Jeeps because I have a lot of long distance family members who have them, a good friend was thinking of getting another, and my 5 year old daughter hollers "Jeep" every time we pass one on the road (Her best friend's mom has one). It has become our version of the slug bug game because you don't see that many beetles on the road anymore and she's 5 and would bruise like a peach.
I loved the idea of getting into a new vehicle for less than 60K and am slowly watching that dream fade into the rear view mirror as I start adding up the upgrades. I want to add a 2" short arm lift, 20" Rockstar ii wheels, 305 Dick Cepek tires, Rampage retractable running boards, decals, and a few other minor things to make it mine. As this is going to be costly I'm only going to do it once so I want to do it right the first time.
Will the tire, wheel, and lift I'm considering be doable or should I adjust my numbers somewhere? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you for welcoming me.
I live in Kansas and we're not really known for our rock crawling. We get a lot of snow and ice so I need a good 4x4 that will get me from point A to point B.
I realize that the vehicle I'm buying will do that and more as it rolls off the factory floor but I prefer the looks of Jeeps that are lifted with the larger tires. I just want to make sure what I'm wanting to add will fit on the Truck/SUV/Unit (Not sure the preferred term).

Ok just wondering. One way to save money is to not get a rubi as you really don't need it for your driving style. I only mention that cause you said something about not keeping it under 60k. Otherwise the wheels and tires should fit. Yiu might have some rubbing on the front skid
You are starting off the a good jeep. Stay away from 20's and chrome! Also, take it slow with the mods. Get to know your jeep first, 6 months at least before you do anything major. NO CAM BOLT LIFTS. Do not do it!!!!! Also again, when you do mods don't go cheap, you will just be buying again.

This is basically the look I'm going for. Unfortunately with most of the jeep pictures I'm finding it will link me to a page where the picture comes from but I'm not finding any info about the lift, wheel or tire size. If anyone can tell me what the mods were from the picture I would appreciate it.
I agree about the chrome for the most part. With the silver Jeep I thought a little chrome on the rims would give it a balanced look between the black tires.
I considered waiting on the lift and tires to get use to the Jeep but having never owned one before it seemed like a better idea to do the mods now. Rather than drive it 6 months get use to it then change it around and try to get use to it again.
