Smile Gladiator rear coil springs on a 2012 JK

I have all four springs and shocks that are take-offs from a newer Gladiator and want to use them on my 2012 JK. From what I’ve heard is that there is a little modification needed to mount the rear springs in the upper pocket.
can anyone shed some light on this? What needs to be done?
I appreciate positive feedback. Thanks.

I try to not respond if I can't have a productive comment, and I often think it's not worth trying to pound square pegs into round holes. Having said that, no clue what mod could be needed. The top is basically a simply isolator that sits between the coil and the perch. No clue if the difference in fitment is coil diameter or what. Never seen anyone here try to do it, likely the reason for lack of comments. Happy to help with any JK problems, but this one likely going to just be trial and error for you.

I have some 3/4" spacers sitting in my garage right now. if you want to provide the diameter of the top of that JT rear spring, i can measure the diameter of that spacer that would normally sit on top of a JK spring. Maybe that would give us an idea if it is the diameter that is an issue or not. That is really the only thing i can think of myself.

You may need the upper spacer/spring holder from the JT. But in writing I cannot say if they even fit the mount holes in the chassis. You might have to be creative.
