Yeah I have been pretty lucky when it came to deployments. when I felt it was time to go to Iraq a few months later I found my on a bird headed to Iraq and when I felt it was time to go to Afghanistan a few months later I found myself on my way here. Some guys though go on back to back to back deployments and never really get time for a break. I at least had a 2.5 yr break between deployments. Don't worry about deploying though cause this war does not have an easy ending so you will get your turn

.Oh, I've gotten my turn about 4 times, I just want more!!!! And it's just this unit. I went twice in a row once, because I volunteered!

I know you are not asking for one, but you do deserve one. Everyone that is or ever has served this great country deserves our thanks. I love everything military, but never joined. Partly because I did not have the courage and discipline and partly because half our family in Poland was whiped out by the russians. I did not want my parents and grandparents to have to go through that again, family name and all that.
But let me be clear I am able bodied and did not have the courage to do it, you all did. You protect me and my family's freedom and you do it with profesionalism and you do it well. I am a supporter of the Afganistan and Iraq wars I want those who aim to kill us on our shores (911) and those who want to destroy our way of life to be defeated there by you all and they will. I am not there so it is easy for me to say, but I love you guys I always thank a soldier when I see one in uniform and I and my family will always owe you a debt of gratitude.
