Default Hey everyone-

This is my first post here on JK-Forum. I've been reading for the past few weeks, writeups and such.

Well, over the past few months I've decided to go for an 08 JK.

Right now I own a pretty wicked XJ (cherokee).

I'm looking at an 08' Rubi 2 door, 6 speed, dual top package, power package... etc.

I DO plan on lifting it. I'm still deciding, 35"s or 37"s... Also what color I want. Either Black or Yellow.

And with that wheel color- Black on black for sure, but on the stealerships JK's, they lift them at the dealership (which i will NOT pay them to do) and they come with some nice dare I say it.. Chrome wheels and 35"s. They do look good, but I don't know.

Not sure if this is where to post it, but does anyone have some pics to compare?

Yellow lifted vs black lifted? On different rims- black and chrome.

Welcome to the site.

I am not a big fan of chrome but I did go polished aluminum which is semi blingy. Might have preferred black/polished like alot of people have. I am happy with my choice though.

That's pretty much what I meant, polished aluminum.

I just don't know what would look better.

I'm still leaning toward the Yellow.

Look through all of last years sema pics for some ideas. Here is a link to a yellow one with polished wheels.

Back track from that link to get to all the different vehicles.
