Default Hey!!! From Oklahoma!!!

Hey I am Jared froma small town in Oklahoma. I am new to the Jeep World. I decided that when I got home from Afghanistan I need a toy so I bought a brand new Altitude Edition Wrangler Unlimited. I am wanting to know what size of Nitto Terra Grapplers I should put on my Jeep. I dont have a lift yet, that will eventually come. I know that I am going to have to buy spacers but thats not a big deal for me. I am going to use my stock wheels which are 18's. I am wanting some tires that are close to 33x12.5x18's. Would nitto terra grapplers 305/60/18 be close to this? I am clueless when it comes to these tire sizez. All the help would be greatly appreciated. I'll Include a picture of the Jeep with my post.

Welcome to forum! I am new jeep owner myself and JK forum has proved to be more than a help, I cant help but read it everyday. As far as your tire questions just do a little research you might find you want to go a little bigger than 33's. I was thinking about 33"s but decided to go with some 35's with a 2.5" Lift, and I couldn't be happier. You will always regret not going bigger. My lift was a teraflex budget boost, about $340 from 4wheelparts in Moore.

This link should help if you have any tire sizing questions also.

Hey greetings from Stillwater!!

I am considering a lift and 35s myself. I have a hookup through my work so I am probably going to go with a vwerks lift. I can't find out a whole lot about them but they have built some pretty nice jeeps and other custom vehicles.

the jury is still out on that one though.....

No I didn't regear, I have the 3.73 and it's really not terrible. Interstate driving and the hilly back roads get a little tedious having to down shift but in the city and around town I have no complaints.
