Hi from oregon
Picked up a "new to me" jk and I am really enjoying it. After wheeling for a long time in a cj5 (18 years) this thing is really nice and stable offroad. I love it.
I have noticed though that not alot of jk owners wave to each other as much as the cj owners do. I don't know why this thing rocks

Welcome from over here in Roseburg.
The thing I have noticed is that as Jeeps become more mainstream and yuppy-fied you have got a bunch of city dwellers driving them now. Folks that go around preoccupied in their little world of electronic gadgets.
I have waved at a lot of people that look at me like I am crazy, a bunch of them did not even notice.
Like someone on here said, just wave at the modified JK's. (heck some guy even said he don't bother to wave at any JK's)
I still miss my CJ but this JK is really starting to grow on me.
Oh and if I don't wave its because I am too worried about the a-hole that is 3 feet off my rear bumper.

Thanks for the welcome
I have noticed that the modified jk people do wave back more often. But I see what you mean about being form the big city. It's all good though.
I hate tailgaters

Thanks. When I picked up this jk it was bone stock.
So I put the 3" BDS suppension and the 35's. And that was ok for awhile. glad the gears were 4:11's. Picked up the warn bumper and got my old 8274 to go on. Then I regeared it to 5:13. And I am very happy how it is doing know.
I picked up the kit from ORO to do the on board air but ran out of time. Will get it done hopefully soon.
Now I got to get some sliders for it,but the wife can't seem to get in it very easily. So I have to make her happy.

Welcome from the dry side of Washington. I have the opposite problem over here. Almost every jk wave but forget about the tj yj cj crowd waving back. Back in the ole tj days everyone waved and now I guess it too mainstream. Funny I never saw a none modified tj 10 years ago and now boom all these untouched tj and yj pop up. Anyways congrats and welcome to the forum
