New to Forum and Need Help Buying the Right Jeep
Hello everyone, I bought my first Jeep back in 1994 when I purchased a brand new Sahara Edition Wrangler. In 1997 I traded in for a 2 door Explorer and have missed the Jeep ever since.
Here is my quandary. If you had a choice would you: A.) buy a new loaded Rubicon and MOD as you are able. B.) buy a new basic sport and start right off with some MOD's at the beginning. C.) buy a low mileage (10K or less) jeep with has already been MOD'ED but not necessarily be able to choose the MOD's. If I buy new, I have a great friend who is the financial manager over several dealerships and I can get a nice deal on a new jeep. Just curious about thoughts and what others have experienced. Lee |
A .... Go with the rubi...save some money on front axles problems...

Buy the sport and build up - you can make a superior vehicle than a Rubicon for less money overall and customize to your tastes. Alot of people buy Rubicon for that little sticker and don't need/use alot of features.

I am waiting to get mine until I get back from deployment and I am getting a Rubicon because of what it already comes with along with the fact that it has D44 axles and will be easier to re-gear then mod the hell out of it.
D35 Axles kinda limit you imo. |
