That new guy
How is everyone, just checking out this fourm. Just purchased my JK it is a 2012 rubicon. So far I am in love. Perfect vehical for this torpical paridise that I am currently living on. So far the only modifications I have done is ordered OME's 4 inch lift kit. I am pretty excited for that to come in. Unfortunatly it is a month wait humph. The other things I would like to do is find a nice set of wheels and tires to go with the new lift. Any sugestions? I am new to off roading but my co workers go on the weekens and I would like to be able to go with them. Most of the terrain is going to be clay, mud and/or sand.

Guam?.. hum not sure you have allot of options for products..
Seems to me you're ahead of the game.. knowing what you want and you've actually ordered it.. If you not to concerned with fuel cost or the saves thereafter.. Duratrac would be my best option.. thou I'm planing on the Duelers.. I would stay away from the Mud Terrians simply because we had a set on the 08.. and we hated them.. at or about 28K mark.. these tire simply felt like road slicks. Always sending the traction control into overdrive.. I mean if one can actually afford this.. I'd get two sets.. one for the street and one for off road.. Wheels.. I line the good old fashion argent grey rubi wheels.. or even the new rubi "gear" looking wheels.. and because you're doing the 4'' you shouldn't have an issue with any sort of rubbing, thou backspacing could be an issue.. Might need to look into wheel spacers.

About the only thing I can suggest is to have someone within your family (if they live in the states) to buy these for you and send in that respect.. but still security concerns and product inspections will hinder getting your product on time and you may even have parts missing.. I can't say this wont happen.. and there is a very small chance. Another thing I've learned.. some US companies are finding it harder to ship products over sea etc.. and have even elected not to.. It's almost to the point where if you know a fab shop in Guam you could have this stuff made cheaper and made to order.. Not throwing doubt your way.. just things to look for.
It's a us territory so getting things isn't hard, just basically have to add 10-20% of the price on for shipping. I guess it's not too bad considering there is no sales tax here. Also breaks...it rains a lot here and I would rather not rear end anyone. My plans are to add a RRC rockers, a front and rear bumpers and 35s. Would it be a solid ideal to get an upgraded break set. This will be my daily driver as well as weekend toy.
Agreed on the brake upgrade..
