New Jeeper in Auburn, WA

Ok I have been lurking in the background, reading, searching, reading some more and it is time for me to step forward and admit "I am a proud owner of a Steel Blue, 2008 Rubicon 2-door!" I rented the jeep in my photo last year in Sedona, AZ and ever since I have been looking for the "right" jeep. My jeep is pretty well loaded, including dual tops and GPS. Now let the mod's begin...

As for me, this is my first jeep. I have owned 4WD vehicles my whole life but they have been more of a necessity than a fun thing. To get to the good hunting, fishing, snow skiing, etc. spots you had to have a 4WD. Right now in my family (wife & 2 sons) we have 5 vehicles, 4 of which are 4WD (Titan, Trooper, Frontier, & Wrangler). I also have a Cagiva street bike and 3 KTM dirtbikes. We also have a Fleetwood Flair motorhome. Did I mention that we love the outdoors?

I retired 3 years ago and I work every day to find fun stuff to do! My boys keep me busy mountain biking, dirt biking, snow skiing, scuba diving, and helping out with soccer. My wife and I like to just get out and enjoy the NW and we are very much looking forward to doing that in our new JEEP!

I look forward to meeting up with some of the great folks on this forum. I have learned a lot about jeeps already and I am excited about learning more.

Welcome to the Forum! You'll like it here. Glad there is another person here that is of retirement age. I've reached that time but because we own our business and work with our son we probably won't retire any time soon. We think our new Rubi is more fun than any other vehicle we've ever had. Have fun!
