Got the JK to some off the main road trails. Nothing crazy but was such a nice weekend in the PACNORWEST. Mind you this was the start of trail on some pavement road leading into the Mtn. Where it turned into dirt and some mud.

Just my 2 cents, but I would stick with a 17" rim. It seems like more options and even a better price then 18" rimmed tires.
PS: Nice rig.

I concur I think I'm save my pennies and just buy a set of 17" wheels and tires and then sell these. Try to do it soon or I'll wear these tires down and won't be worth much. Can't seem to find a place who will just trade them even if I had to put a little extra cash in.

Suppose I could go with some basic black steelies which are cheap and then splurge some on quality tires.

Found some Fuel 17" wheels locally going to pickup Thursday. He only had the (4) so I will take that and just get a 5th wheel soon. Sucks becuase the price I will pay for the (4) is close to what it will be brand new for just one! I could wait it out longer but on a crunch to get the new set of wheels mounted before the weekend. Planning a trip to Oregon.

Thanks! Glad you approve I often tread lightly when speaking about other vehicles in open forum because you never know how people feel. I have heard so many stories when I had my XJ and vice versa now so I prefer to just send a feeler out first
