Hi All. New to the Jeep community. First time Jeep owner. 2008 Sahara 2 door, 6 speed, red rock crystal pearlcote. I’m 76, retired, Army Military Police Honor Guard. Glad to be here !

Thanks everyone ! Happy to be part of the group. It’s funny though. My wife and I have leased two cars for many, many years. Didn’t have to wrench on those. Turned one in and bought the Jeep as a second car when needed. These new vehicles are not like working on my old cars. I really miss my 57 Chevy Bel Aire and my 62 Chevy Impala SS 327ci convertible ! So easy to work on. Now, these cars are so sensitive, I’m afraid to fart in it cause I’ll get a code pop up ! LOL !

Welcome to JKF. That is a really clean looking '08. Appears previous owners did a nice job taking care of it. I really hate the trend of things getting so sophisticated they are hard to work on. Most of it seems to all be in the name of meeting fuel economy regulations....and keeping the dealer service departments full! Can't wait till everything is electric......
