Welcome, good to see you are not a "lurker" any longer; good group as you know from your years of watching and reading.

Yes, it is and thank you! I saw your response on my other post. We will be checking the list tomorrow. 🤞

Thank you! This forum has been my go to site for years when I had a problem or question. 95% of the time someone had the same problem before me and it helped me resolve it as well. I would have probably continued to play in the shadows if my Jeep didn't develop some kind of steering/suspension mess that I can't seem to find an answer to. I'm hoping it'll help someone else once we figure out what is going on. 😊

I have a 2008 and it is basically stock components except for the the LCA and TB and no steering issues so far. Big thing is to stay within stock wheel backspace first and foremost and no spacers. My son has a 2016 and developed DW after he put less backspace wheels on for 35" tires. And there is not a thing wrong with any joint or arm etc etc. He is going to put my (his old) wheels on to try. The only way to do bigger tires properly is to go with pickup 3/4 or 1 tons and use a stock BS wheel.

I think that is where everything went wrong. When they had to replace everything, they said it would be best to have the heavy duty TB, DL, etc, installed instead of OEM. The only thing that wasn't upgraded/changed was the backspace of the wheels/spacers and the stabilizer. I was going to remove it and see if that fixed the tightness in the wheel, but now that the PS is out entirely I can't see how that would have anything to do with it. The lift was put on within days of the steering upgrades which is why I'm not sure which is causing the issue. I noticed the sway bar end link bushing on the bottom is not at a 90 degree angle since this all started, but they said the "bushing is still tight so that's not part of the problem". I've been chasing one thing after another since it was hit. Unfortunately, it was a torrential downpour most of the day so we didn't get to put it up and really look at it. Laying in a river of cold water just didn't seem like fun today. 😂
