New Member, First Jeep!
Hey guys, I'm Chris. I'm a law enforcement officer and National Guard soldier that is currently deployed. I'm from southeast Georgia, and this is my first Jeep. I am in Afghanistan currently and haven't even gotten the chance to drive it or fully look it over. My father, who is a very competent, certified mechanic and 4X4 enthusiast, actually went and looked her up and down and picked her up for me. It is a '12 JK Unlimited Sport, hard top. I traded my '12 GMC Sierra SLE for it after finally convincing myself I didn't NEED a big V8 truck. Here's a little rundown:
-Lift (not exactly sure how much at this time)
-Smittybilt Step bars and XRC Front and Rear bumper systems
-Hella Lights
-Winch (Can't think of the brand at this time)
-20" Fuel Krank wheels wrapped in 37X12.50R20 Nitto Trail Grappers (not exactly digging 20" wheels but they were on the Jeep...I'm thinking of going down to 18" or 17", if I can find someone to trade)
Like I said, this is my first Jeep. I've wanted one since before I could ever think of driving, but for some reason I always stuck with pickups until now. I'm excited to get home and take it out and get it dirty, and I hope to find a 4X4 club in my area.
Anyways, hope you guys like it.
