New from the Missouri Ozarks

I started 4 wheeling in the 1970's in an FJ55 Sand Tan Land Cruiser.
My second 4 wheeler was an FJ40 Green Land Cruiser that is still in the area. Powered by a Chevy 6-292 CID infront of an Advanced Adapter Kit.

Next we had three Cherokees. The 1993 I kept forever was a 4 Door Sport Police Package. I rebuilt it a 273K and added a Rubicon Express Lift, 4 wheel Disc Brakes, Bumpers, Swing Away Tire Carrier, etc. Sold it at around 350K

The next purchase was an impulse buy. I spotted a 2004 Wrangler Black on Black Hardtop Rocky Mountain Edition out back with bags still on the seats. I bought it and had 31-10.50/15 Wrangler MTR's installed before taking it home. Traded it for a 3/4 Ton 4x4 RAM Truck.

I have been looking for another Wrangler. Making a file of potential vehicles with pictures and details. I looked at a 2 Door Sahara Stick Shift rig first with Tow Package, LSD, and 3.73's. I was not impressed with it. It had a little more corrosion than I cared for. I am guessing it came from a Northern State where salt was used freely. It was probably OK, but I decided to pass on it.

The second one I looked at was a 2 Door, Soft Top, Stick Shift, in Crush Orange. I liked it, but I was not sure that I was ready for a soft top.

The Third One is a Charm they say. In this case it was. I liked every thing about it, and made a Five Hour trip with check in hand to take a look at it. It was cleaner than I ever expected it to be. I am now the Second Owner of a 2013, 2 Door, Hard Top, Automatic, Rock Lobster, MOAB. One of only 735 Two Door MOAB's made in Model Year 2013. Bill the previous owner is the parts manager at a Jeep Dealership in Tennessee. Saying that it was well maintained is a huge understatement. It looks new! I will get pictures when the sun shines again.
