New with some chaos
 

Im new to the board but have been reading more than anything.

I bought a trektop from a guy here who also had it on craigslist. I emailed him through there. I gave him a little under what he asked and it was suppose to be brand new. I looked at the top but didnt go through every piece. Unfortunately 70% of the small parts were missing, so to fellow jeepers please be careful buying stuff.

If there is a way to add the persons name to a list for this I would be interested in doing that with a moderator.

I also want to thank the boards for all the great info it has gotten me to where I am now.

Did you contact the seller to see if he may have a bag of parts laying around that he didn't realize was not with the top? Could be an honest mistake.

Since you didn't purchase through a for sale thread there's not a lot we can do.

Again, see if you can work it out with the guy... who knows maybe he has what you need.

Yes i contacted him he doesnt have any of the parts.

I didnt see the selling rules but just saw the scoring and rules.

I will make sure to only buy within the site so they can be rated. I know better but I guess took a chance trusting and shouldnt have. Lesson learned.

I am excited to be here and back in a jeep after nearly 20 years lol.
