Default Newbee from Washington

My computer skills are limited, so pardon me. I have an 07 Sahara lifted 4" with A/T 36" tires, its my daughter's daily driver for a few years. It has 20K miles on it. 3 weeks ago the welds broke on the front axle to steering dampener housing connection. Lucky she was only going 25 mphr as the tires slapped back and forth violently. Nobody was hurt, just scared. Its not covered by warranty, due to the aftermarket stuff, eventhough the factory welds failed. The dealer sent it to a local 4X shop who rewelded the bracket better than original and installed a heavier duty stabilizer rod and shock. This could have been much worse at high speed.
