Default Newbie!

Hi! Newbie from Texas!

Having a problem with my 2017 Wrangler- replaced brake pads couple months ago. Now my jeep shakes when I get above 45 and today after driving about 30 miles freeway, my drivers side front wheel and passenger side rear wheel were smoking. My dad passed not to long ago and he was the one that helped me all the time. HELP!

Welcome to JKF. Additional info on your ride will assist in getting more feedback. Miles on your ride? Upgraded or larger tires? Lift? Possibles on the brakes caliper piston stuck .. Have had that on ours; pull your calipers off and check the pistons for movement = piston not releasing being stuck.. Update the forum. Good knowledgeable group here. Shakes above 45 probably a different issue.

ABS/ESC systems are 2 different.. ABS pulsates / applies the brakes when standing on (panic stop) .. you will feel the brake pedal pulsating - there is a good explanation in the owners manual... ESC (traction control) detects wheel slip/spin and electronically reduces engine throttle while activating the ABS to slow/stop the spinning tire. Do you have a warning light illuminated? Refer to the owners manual.
