Bought a 2014 JKU about a month ago. After going through replacing my lost keys, I decided to replace the halogen head lights with LED’s. I’m having some challenges.
Here is what’s going on: .
Stock high/low beam lights work on both sides.
New LED works both high/low on drivers side, however light does not work on passenger side.
I’ve switched the new LEDS, both work correctly on the drivers side.
Kinda stumped, appreciate any troubleshooting ideas. Thanks!
Welcome to the forum. Did the ones you purchased come with Anti Flicker Pulse Width Modulators for smooth current flow? Given that the OEM Halogens work both sides .. and LEDs have much less current draw many many times there is a FLICKER condition.
Welcome. Age old problem with lights and Jeeps. I lucked out and got gifted two Chinese Amazon headlights and they worked perfectly even the DRL system. I would think you need to increase the load on the lights but the anti-flicker devices (as mentioned by others) I thought had those load adding resistors in them as well. Send them back and try another set from different supplier. Mine have no brand on them so cannot help other than a picture if you want.
