Bought a 2012 JKU two weeks ago, and today was the essentially the first day that they have not called for rain in my area. Took about a month to locate the exact vehicle that I was looking for, but the local dealer finally found it in Virginia and it is sitting in my driveway as I type this. May have to leave work early in order to go for a drive....

Assembled and put on the soft top yesterday, not too big of a project. Was surprized to read on the forum that a lift could void my warranty, but very glad that I read that. Am thinking about going to talk with my local dealership about that issue. How depressing....

Jeep is Flame Red. Unlimited Sport with the 24s package and the hard top. Going to need some black rims sooner rather than later.

Been reading through the forum. Much usefull info here.

Welcome! If you don't go over 2.5 it won't void the warranty is what I was told by dealership.

Welcome. The warranty question really depends on the dealer. Some have had their vehicle flagged as non-warrantied after taking it in with minor mods. On the other hand, my dealer is very mod-friendly and honored every warranty claim and recall up until it hit 36K miles. Mine is fairly well modded and they told me to "wheel the hell out of it."
