Default Ordering a JK this weekend!

I'm planning on ordering a Sport this weekend and was wondering if there are any must have features I should get? I'm planning on getting a 2 door, standard with the power group, the towing package to get a hitch, and a hard top. I plan on getting 33's and a small lift in the future so would it be a good idea to bump up to the 3.73 gears? Thanks in advance!

Hi Kyle! I'm running 35s with 3.73 gears and I have no problem; I've detected no power loss. Do you know how much of a lift you want to put on it yet? Congrats on your pending order; prepare for the longest wait of your life!

Yeah the dealer said 3-4 weeks but its definitely gonna feel like years. But wow that's awesome! I had a 2001 jeep with a 4inch lift, 35's on stock gears and it could barely get out of it's own way. But this time around as of now i'm planning on 33's with a 2.5 or 3 inch lift.

I only get slight rubbing when I'm flexed out or turning tightly with 35s on a 3 1/4" lift; a friend of mine put 35s on with a 3" lift (using 1 1/2" spacers) and had no rubbing issues. I'm sure you'll be fine!

If it's a helpful indicator to you, I ordered my JK on 6 March and it was delivered to the dealership on 5 April; just a day shy of a month. Not too bad at all! It actually took longer to get it here (southern NM) than it took to build it.

Yeah that's not bad considering how far it had to travel! Mines only having to come to WV so I'm hoping it gets here in a little less than a month...

congrats on the jeep and you diff dont need a 2.5 -3 inch lift for 33's, you can run em stock height. 2.5-3 is perfect for 35's. I would go with 3.73 gears if it was me
