RTPG - 2014 Jeep JK build (Central, WA)
I am on my 2nd Jeep JK within a few month. The 1st 2014 Jeep JKU went back to the dealer due to the major oil leak and the fact that they tried to change the contract after we had a deal.
I picked up another 2014 JKU with less miles and in better condition. The 2nd on looks like the 1st one but it has the touchscreen stereo with steering wheel controls whereas the other one had $49 single DIN CD player and NO steering wheel controls.
Hopefully this new one won't spring an oil leak so I can start fixing it up soon and actually use it.
This is the 1st one that went back to the dealer:
This is the 2nd one:
About me: I consider myself an old school offroader. I have built/worked on/fixed up a few (older) rigs over the years. Most of them have been full sized Chevy/GMC K5 Blazer/Jimmy & FJ40 Land Cruisers. I also built up a pretty cool Jeep Cherokee a few years back for my wife but we sold it a few years ago when we moved.
I have done some easy basic mods such as gas door cover, hard wire Escort Radar into mirror, foot rest mod, Cobra CB, etc. I also traded off the ugly aftermarket wheels and N-Fab steps for Rubicon wheels and Rubicon sliders.
Here is what it looks like now:
