Silver Rubicon 2dr coming soon

Hey all, I am picking up my Rubicon this friday. Considering I didn't order one, and only decided to buy one, I'm happy to have found just what I wanted (2dr freedom top, 6spd, 6 disc changer, tow package, power and convenience, Sirrius). And to think, I only have to drive 2 hours away from where I live to get it, and I only spent 4 hours searching all dealers within 200 miles of my address to see what inventory was available. The better news is the dealer is in such a small area, that they are only charging $150 over invoice:D ! Unbelievable! This dealer has won me for life! Two local dealers both said that even if I ordered exactly what I wanted (same as jeep I found) that I would be looking at full sticker (I even bought a 300c srt8 for cash earlier this year from one of these:eek!: ) freaking unbelievable! Anyways, I will be adding front bumper with a winch (haven't decided which bumper yet!) and a rear bumper with tire carrier as well. Then once it has been properly broken in and tested on and off trail, the lift and tire combo will be next come spring time. Looking forward to sharing what I discover, and explore with my Rubicon. By the way, it's replacing my 2001 WJ v8, with 4" lift and 32" MTR's, ARB front with winch, and some other goodies. Hoping I won't miss it at all........

Hey usgaone, welcome to JK-Forum.com! Please post some pics of your JK once you get it.

:D Just got home from picking up the New Jeep. WOW! This is more then I possibly expected. Even met some friends to play in/on some areas we just know about and tested the sway bar disconnect, the 4low system. Even tried to get stuck so I could try the lockers, but couldn't even get stuck when I tried. hopefully some of the pictures came out. Will post/submit when I get a chance.

Not even 12 hours old!!!!!!!!!......Nice rear flex, nice front flex with the eletric sway disconnect, and How most jeeps never look, especially after less then 1/2 a day of ownership.

Don't be jealous...you'll be there soon enough. I spent all day driving the Rubicon around. This is no TJ! Jeep definitely did it right! Hell it is so far quieter and smoother then my WJ I just got rid of. So happy that I went with the 6spd, I didn't realize how much I miss manual trans. This no ordinary jeep. I have owned an '89 XJ, '95 YJ, '01 TJ, and an '01 WJ. This is by far the best I have owned yet! It was incredible off road yesterday, and just completely impressed me and my buddies. Tons more fun to be had, will keep everyone in touch.:D

The pics

Love the pics. :eek!: I'm glad you showed it to us with a little mud on it. Sounds like a great rig. We have a 4dr Sahara which fits the bill nicely - more room than our cj7 and a few more creature comforts no less. :yup:
