Any comments on daystar 3" lift and level kit? Will 35" tires be to much?

I'm looking at a 2 1/2 inch rough country spacer lift for my '13 (also black JKU!). From the research I've done so far looks like I'll need wheel spacers or rims with 4 1/2 inch backset to run 35s. Not sure which way I'm going to go cause I like the stock rims but I'm not sold on spacers. I suspect you'll have to go a similar route...

Maybe so. I'm not doing my lift, Happy Trails is installing so my warranty will be good. Just never heard of daystar brand, but that's what they recommended. It's been 10 years sense my last jeep. I know brands like super lift and rancho. Lol. Good luck with your jk, would love to see it when your done. Also I do think that jeeps aluminum rims look good with bigger tires on them. I need to pull the trigger on something soon, just can't make up my mind on wheels and tires. 17X10, 17x9, 18x10, 18x9, 33 12 50, 35 12 50. Only got one shot at this. Lol.

8" preferably or maybe 9" wide wheel, not 10". 8" will hold a better bead off road when aired down for a 12.5" wide or less tire

That's not to say 10" is bad or won't work, just not ideal. I wouldn't go below 15ish psi with 10" wheel with 12.5" tires.
