Sunburst 09 JK in NoVA/DC
Just took home my 09 Sunburst 2dr Sahara, eager to get cracking on some much needed modification (but lacking in funds and then theres the whole wife thing).
I'm 26, a Staff Sergeant in the Army currently stationed in DC. This is my first OFFICIAL Jeep although I owned an old 1977 AMC DJ5 Postal Jeep (bought for $300) when I was in high school that me and a friend used to tool around on - it was far from ever being street legal (or trail worthy) but it had potential. I ended up just handing over the title to my friend when I joined the Army because it had been sitting on his land for a couple years and I could no longer afford the work/time needed to get it on the road.
So anyways, I look forward to soaking up all the sweet knowledge you guys have to offer and if you're driving around the DC area and you see a white guy with an abnormally bright red forehead and forearms, gimme a wave. ( I have a newfound love for the Freedom Top)
