Some months back, I believe someone hit the spare hitch bike rack on my 2010 Wrangler. Nothing was noticeable at the time but now the tailgate is "oil-canning" every time i hit a bump going on or off-road. It's very loud and my mechanic says a whole tailgate replacement would be needed and I'd like to avoid that if possible. Anyone ever had a similar scenario?
