Default Traded the Cummins for a Jeep

Decided I wanted a Jeep rather than the full size Megacab. So, went and found a new 15 Willys Wheeler W back in April and got it. Been on the PNW section for the most part. Figured Id post in here now that I have started with some mods and doing a few more things with it. For the most part I plan to explore the PNW FS roads and various trails for camping & fishing. Slowly piecing this together for expeditions while saving for a wedding next July. Lucky for me, she is a Jeeper as well. She had a 2012 bone stock unlimited that we traded in for a Tank green Auto Willys Wheeler when I traded my Cummins in.

So far I have put on a cheap bumper I picked up on ebay and then installed a Evo leveling kit. Added the MCE fenders and the 315/70/17s. Trimmed up the rubicon rails. Went and picked up a Smittybilt x20 winch a couple weeks ago as well. I did pickup some Metalcloak bumpstops but haven't installed them yet. Im piecing together a softop kit as well. So far I found some factory door surrounds. Im looking at the smittybilt bowless softop system but havent pulled the trigger yet.

Went out on a camping trip this past weekend. Jeep did great up Fortune Creek. Kinda bummed at the gearing/gutlessness in 2wd and even 4wd going uphill. Made use of low range most of the time. Only rubbed a few times on the rear bumper(I think). Ill pickup a 2.5 lift, or just rear springs, soon to give it a better ride back there. Looking at Metalcloak ones right now.

Going door-less for the rest of the week. Suppose to be near 90

Yup getting out of the Diesel scene was tough for me (01 Cummins well built) and the power was fun as all hell but todays gen of diesel owners think its all about the Roll of the coal and with no pun left a black mark on the truck community.

Soo got back into the Jeep crowd again and have had a blast ever since.
