Been lurking around for a few months and finally took the time to read the Start Here thread. Looks like I should have put a note up here awhile ago; sorry.

Anyway, this is my first Jeep & I absolutely LOVE it!! Cruising around topless/doorless is the best and I doubt I'll ever give it up now. I can see how it could quickly turn to an obsession. I've even gotten the official 'if you spend any more time on that Jeep' lecture from the wife.

This is a great forum & I've already gotten several useful ideas out of it.

Congrats on your jeep! My advice is to include your wife with anything jeep related. Then she might get the bug allowing you to do what you want. I've been talking my hubby's ear off about jeeps for the past year and a half. Now that we finally have one he is in love too. Maybe I will even let him drive it this weekend. LOL.

Admittedly, her 'lecture' was somewhat tounge-in-cheek. I think her message was more I'm not PO'd yet, cuz it is cool, but don't push your luck. Truth be told, I think she likes the Jeep almost as much as I do - she's swiped it a couple of times to go to work. She's even come up with a few excuses to take it to the store when the top is off...
