According to a source that has been spot-on on about 90% of information on the JL, production starts Monday the 16th. Order banks are not open yet, but they've begun to be populated.
I sat down with the dealer where I'll be ordering, and I saw it on the computer, but the link wasn't active. It was on the menu, though.
JK orders are being taken now for 2018, but they close at the end of October, with production running through March, then ending. The JL order banks will be open any day.
The LA Auto Show in December is where it is to be revealed, but don't be surprised to see it at SEMA.
Productio ramp up will be slow, with 4 door hard top V6 kicking it off. The soft tops begin in December, and the 4 cylinder turbo comes in the spring. Around May, the automatic top enters production. In August, the diesel comes on line.
