Default Can my stock Rubicon handle Gold Lake Trail?

I have a 2014 JKUR and will be heading to Gold Lake in Northern California at the end of June. Has anyone done this trail? And if so, can my stock Rubi handle it. It will be me and two other people with gear. Just wondering what your thoughts were. I have the lifetime warranty on the rig through the military program and don't want to void anything, but also don't want to get in over my head on my first every 4x4 camping expedition.

Let me know what you think!

Also go up the Sierra buttes trail to the gate and hike up to the ranger tower.

Awesome! Thanks for the responses. Any other recommendations while I'm up there?

Should be good to do any trail up there. there's a short trail to Upper Sardine Lake that can get you away from most of the people. same with Snake Lake.

As JKZinger mentioned, the lookout station is pretty cool too.

Gold lake is near Fordyce. Don't try to run that one stock!

I was talking about the Gold Lake up off 49 by Bassett's, not sure if that's what the OP was talking about.

Yes the one off 49. Just to be clear, I'm talking about the Gold Lake Trail in the Sierra Buttes/Plumas National Park area. I believe Snake Trail is right there too spinuck. It's north of Tahoe and West of Reno. I should have been more specific the first time. So I'm good to run that stock correct?

Awesome. And thanks for the pics. I want to do Snake Trail but I don't have much (really any) off-road experience. I have ridden in MRAPS, MATVs and HMMWVs a bunch, but have only gone off-roading with me behind the wheel a little. Would love to make my way up to Snake Trail but I have heard it can be dicey. Thoughts?
