Default Drive shaft hitting gas tank skid

I know we have some very knowledgeable folks in, and i'm hoping someone can help me. My stock rear drive shaft has started rubbing my RockHard gas tank skid when my rear passenger side tire is pushed up. Has anyone had this problem, and if so any suggestions on how to fix it? I dont think trimming the skid will help, I was wondering if changing the stock rear track bar would help possibly? Any help is appreciated.

Bash in that portion of the skid a little with a hammer, and set your adjustable rear trackbar a little longer.

Mine was also digging into my skid after I put coilovers on. I ended up solving it with a long arm which stopped the axle swipe.

I'll try that. I have long arms at the moment, not sure if that's helping or causing the issue.

Long arms and a stock rear track bar? This is pertinent information when asking for help.

I run my stock rear track bar with a long arm with no issues.

It is really odd that you are experiencing that with long arms? How much lift did you end up with and is your axle pulled a little off center towards the skid from the trackbar?

Yeah, stock rear track bar. Is there a good way to measure if the axle is off center? it's a 4 inch lift, not sure how much lift now after some settling and adding more weight. I've seen other people posting this problem, but only solution I've seen is increase the bumpstop on that side, but I'd hate to give up articulation.

Measure the distance between the tire (common point) and the framerail. If it's off to one side or the other you'll see it in the numbers.

Seems odd to run a stock rear trackbar with long arms when they typically get changed out at 2.5"+ and long arms are more beneficial around 4"+. My logic outstepped the reality.

You don't have a axle side Track bar bracket? I didn't look, but if you don't that is most of the problem! Due to your lift a stock track bar would pull the axle toward the passenger side....causing that drive shaft to rub!!
