Default Ouch!!

Ok, so silly me was talking to the SA at the Stealership and since I had just picked up a set of Rubi Shocks and Springs from a forum member, I thought "hey lets ask how much they would charge to install them" Labor = $560.00.

Just thought I would share.

Pat

I would not give it to them to install even if they do it free of charge. It is fun to install shocks and springs.

That's easy!

First, they take your total net worth, then divide it by your monthly disposable income and then multiply it times 1 over the number of jeep wranglers you've owned in the past (adding back 3.14 for every one of them sold from that specific dealership) and then they return you a credit from the resulting number equal to the average cost to feed a human being chow mein and water three times a day. Or, about 86-114 dollars per hour...

I'm hoping someone will have an install party or just be available to show me how.

If you have the space throw the install party at your place. Shocks and springs are easy to install someone will show up that knows how.
Wish you was closer I'd be there! Depending on date I may be able to come out.

Set something up, I'll be there. Did that upgrade basically by my self. It seems harder than it is. Really!

We're supposed to do ChopN's ball joints some time soonish -- I'm sure you could hop on the install party with shocks and springs since it's an easy job. I had offered to host that one, but so did a few others I think, so I'm not sure what the plan is. Here's that thread.

If you want to drive to Sacto and we can get a date I'm more than willing to use my garage and tools if you feed the crew! The install will take less time than your drive!

Let me know.
