Glad you haven't forgotten about me! It'll be a few weeks before I make plans to get it done.

So why not put a small lift instead?
Do Rubi springs have a stiffer spring rate?

Thanks for all the offers to help. I don't think I have the tools to get the job done at home (what would you need to do this anyway)

If it's ok with ChopN, I'll wait till his install and we can do them at the same time? Let me know what the "cost" is, we can go in together on it.

Or, about 86-114 dollars per hour...
Thank you! that makes sense now... i was racking brain trying to figure this out... lol! great explanation!

Basic hand tools ( sockets, extensions, wrenches, jack and jack stands. You only need to take the tires off and disconnect the shocks to get the springs in. May want to disconnect the drive shaft if your afraid of dropping the axle too low messing with the seal. You would have to suspend them with something so they don't drop too low.

Hey Patricks99, I'll give you a hand if still needed. Not that we can't handle it ourselves but I'll get a couple of other local guys to come by for you to meet. Shoot me a pm and we'll schedule it.

Question though...Will those springs really get you anything additional?

Probably no height difference, but should get better on and off road spring action. Shocks should be a big difference from the stock blacks shocks. PJohn's tools list made it seem like I could do it with a short trip to Harbor Freight, I'll let you know what I decide. Thanks for the offer.

I did it in a gravel driveway that isn't even all that level. I used the stock jack for most of the lifting (just wanted to find out if the jack was any good). Also used a small bottle jack. Jack stands are necessary along with an assortment of wood blocks. Tools were just the same wrenches I carry in the Jeep anyway. You do need 1/2" drive sockets to get this done.

If you are feeling less than confident, some help from someone who's done it would be great.

Sounds like the dealer estimated around 5 hours to do the job. That seems too long for a pro in shop with lifts. I did it alone the hard way in 6-7 hours with plenty of breaks and a few beers.
