I just had a local repair shop install my rubicon springs and shocks on my 08 and it took em about 1 hr and charged me $90. And it did add an inch I had 16 and 17 fronts and the rubicons where 18s.

Yes, those are the ones I'm talking about. There are a lot of options out there, these were just the cheapest. Not sure what year your rig is but if it's 07-11 you should be able to even go with something like the Teraflex leveling kit on top of the springs and still be ok. Plus then it comes with disconnects. Just thoughts for you to consider. I did the springs and shocks with help and then about a week later did the spacers by myself. Would have been nice to do it all at once.

We did mine and Atoms in my secret little shop of horrors in Milpitas. Very doable with hand tools but power or pneumatics speed up the game quite a bit. I imagine if we had a lift and no bs ing and no beer we could do it in 1-2 hrs flat.

I put 18-59's with shocks on mine from 12-54's. Got almost 1.5" of lift all around. The height and ride are night and day from original. Enough clearance for my HUGE 28" Toyo Open Country's to clear even at full flex!!

Atoms were also 18/59's from Robmst's Rubi. His gain was only about 1". His springs originally were 16/55's iirc.

We can do an install party sometime if you want. I know some other jeepers will show.

Default How to

Just take the old ones out and reverse the steps as you put the new ones in. It really is easy to do.

I'll cook up some cochinita pibil (pork tacos) and I'll make sure the fridge is stocked. If anyone has a problem with pork, well too bad seriously, let me know and i'll have something else for yah.

I was thinking of getting started mid morning?
