Rubicon trail
I am researching the possibility of participating in the Jeep Jamboree Rubicon trail run next year. I find videos of stock Jeep Rubicons on mild parts of the trail. Then I see highly modified Jeeps barely making it through tough spots. But I cant find those stock rubicons through those tough spots. I am looking for comments from those who have run the trail.
My current build is listed below.

If you're doing it alone in the dark or something I would probably throw on some beefed up diff covers, but that's about it.
EDIT: Regarding the footage of super built rigs having trouble, there are definitely obstacles that will challenge anyone, but they can be easily bypassed and aren't mandatory.

Thanks mmccurdy for the reply, I plan on running it the first time with the Jamboree. I just installed some ARB diff covers, so I have that covered. I didnt know there were bypasses, that makes sense.

We all go at least 2 or 3 times a year ur welcome to join us. I was asking McCurddy his 20. We are suppose to have a few drinks tonite in Vegas. The Con is not bad just non stop for the whole trail. The sections that are buggy areas we just bypass and keep going. Better to be on the trail than broke on the trail

Good question. I would like to hit the Rubicon trail some day and my jk is built similar to yours. It's nice to know that this would be a challenging run but fun. The beefy diff covers sounds like a good idea.
Is it tenting only?

They stack a LOT of rocks for the jamborees, making the run much easier than the actual trail. Stock jeeps can make the jamboree runs fairly easily - and they have spotters at most obsticles.
Runs on the trail after the jamborees are much easier than early year runs.
The trail doesn't require serious mods, but a locker and some larger tires greatly helps. Also remember that patiences and an experienced run buddy helps too.
My first trip across I ran with two friends that were experienced. After 3 or 4 times I started taking friends across on their first time. Now, I've been across around 20-25 times.
