Hi All,

I'm new the PNW having arrived in the Seattle area about a week ago. I have a black 2012 JKUR and a 2013 gecko JKUR. I love to get out and explore the trails - anything from low key easy to trails to rock crawling. I just love my Jeep(s) and love to get out and use them!

Having left behind my posse I'll be looking for some new wheeling friends, though I'm not really interested in joining a formal club. If anyone is interested in showing me around I'd love to hear from you!

Welcome crawler chick. I believe you joined a Facebook group that some of us are members in too. Not a lot of runs are getting posted right now, but there should be more once spring/summer rolls around. The east side opens up in June/July and that's where the fun happens.... Unless you like mud, then there's always Elbe. I hate mud so I don't go to Elbe much.

Hi guys-

Up in the mountains of North Central Idaho. My BF and I built a little offgrid cabin and my '08 JK 2 dr is one of the most crucial pieces of equipment we have.

The cabin is located beyond where the plows stop, so we have to keep the road open ourselves. I've lost track of how many times i've had to get the chainsaw which resides in back to cut away fallen trees to get to town, but we love the solitude.

Lots of great areas to explore here, the Clearwater and Bitterroot N.F.'s are literally my backdoor. I'm moving more from rock crawling to expedition-type Jeeping, but always up to learn new terrain and meet like-minded folks.

Afternoon Everyone!

I just moved to the area and looking for some fellow Jeepers. I moved here from GA and recently purchased my JK Rubi. This is my 4th jeep with my first being a CJ then '12 JK, '00 TJ (Sold before moving cross country.. SAD DAY!) and now my 17 Rubi. I'm excited to be here and cant wait to get to some meet and greets!

I am new here also, not to the area but to the Jeep world. I bought my 2008 JKU with 65,000 miles on it in July. I just did my first oil change since I bought it after driving it about 3500 miles. I did it today as a matter of fact. I am also looking for people in the Coos County area to meet and greet. Are there any Jeep clubs around here?

Here are a couple pics of my Jeep, which my wonderful wife has so lovingly and humorously named. "Mistress!"

Here is why she named her that:
In the last 4 months, I have installed the Trailmaster 3" lift, Skyjacker adjustable front track bar, AEV front control arm geometry correction brackets, new Rancho RS5000X shocks and RS5000 steering stabilizer, and a new free flow Thrush muffler, as well as a bunch of other small mods. I have done all of the work myself with limited help from my 14 year old daughter while installing the lift.

I have a few custom mods I am planning to do over the winter, but these short cold days on the coast are too hard for me to work out in the garage.

I met a guy at the Chevron station in Roseburg last weekend, who had an extra set of recovery hooks from a bumper he bought and didn't like, so he went home and got them for me. He asked for $20 bucks. I gladly gave it to him. I did not re-install the plastic on the front bumper. I refinished it and coated it with under body rubberized paint and then covered that with Rustoleum equipment paint. I had to sand it to bare metal. Turned out pretty good and will last me until I get the bumper and winch combo I plan to add sometime in the near future.
