Default Caribou...!!!

I forgot to show you guys what I saw on the way to work this summer. There were 2 of them but this guys was the biggest. Not a monster but nice to see never the less. Sorry for the poor picture quality....not good lighting for sure.

Great Pics.... My Nephew may be getting stationed in Kenai I believe. If he does I will be visting for sure...

Stationed?......for what? No base on the Kenai Peninsula.

Nice caribou shots! I remember while photographing in Denali at the Toklat River bridge, I found my self between a huge bull caribou and the river bed. You could see he was not happy with me there. I'll try and find the file on my computer and post it. Buy the way, I don't remember a military base in your area?

Here are the Toklat River shots from Denali! The composition in your shot is awesome with the fireweed in the foreground.
