Digital Camera

I'm in the market for a digital camera.
I know this is not directly related to the JK but I've not been able to show any of my mods cause my camera died with some pics on it :sad2:

I thought of getting a DSLR but the price is just to high.

I was thinking of one of these.

Anyone have one and have an opinion?

i do a lot of photography have been doing it since high school i have tons of professional cameras i would go for this one

it's a few extra dollars but your getting a 12.mp camera as opposed to 8.0mp and you have a lot more control over what you shoot and it's a little smaller

hope this helps... if you have any other questions on camera stuff pm me i would be more than happy to answer any questions you have

Just bought the wife a Nikon D40x.....takes better pictures than a Cannon EOS....it's a sweet camera

The other one is on sale for $314.99 and the $499.99 is just to high for my budget.

I like a larger camera because I have big hands with long fingers (full octive reach on the piano, but I only tooks a few lessons).
Holding a small camera just gives me fits I can't get a good grip, I dropped my old one several times that's whey it doesn't work. I need something I can hold on to.

We have had several Canons here and they all have been good quality cameras with a long life and no problems. I'm buying my son's Rebel Xt as he has upgraded to a higher end Canon DSLR. Coming in today, can't wait to get back to a DSLR. We are presently shooting a Konica Minolta A200 which is a very nice camera but you lose a lot by not having a DSLR, things like a pc plug for an off camera flash and an optical viewfinder instead of those stupid electronic viewfinders. Plus you can swap out lenses to fit the situation. If it were me, I'd look around and see if I could find a good used DSLR at a dedicated camera store nearby. Lot's of people are upgrading all the time so the good used ones are out there.

I have this exact camera. I bought it last Summer and have literally taken over a thousand pictures with it. I love it!
