Finally got around to trying HDR. This is from three EV bracketed images at -2EV, 0, and +2EV from a tripodded digital SLR, done in Photomatix (trial version, hence the watermarks) and a little curves and levels in Photoshop. I also tried to mask out the sky which is too obvious. I'll undo that some time.
Trail info: this little posing rock is along the Moody Hill trail in north central Colorado, just before the 'quarry.' Taken the 9th of August.

Re:
Hi,,, ya Hdr is a fun tool to play around with, it works well with jeeps and such,, Can I make a suggestion, We all have different perspectives, but on my monitor,, the color temperature is way to cool, blue. It might be your preference, but there is a color temperature slider in the program, to give it a warmer feel.
Notice your jeep seats, well, they are kinda blue. You can still get the effect you want, but with a little more accurate colors,,
IE:
original
slight temp adjustment

Not bad, but you need a little more practice. The best HDR is one where you can't even tell its HDR. This also can be achived by using one singel raw file, and then you won't need a tripod.
here is an HDR i did a few months ago.
