Anyone else do macro? Just got my Canon EF 100 F2.8 IS lens and am still playing with it. Here's a few shots:

New thorns are still transparent before they completely harden.

Those were great shots! I love the wedding bands -- awesome!

OK, my turn to play. These were all taken with my Nikon D3100 while in the South Texas hill country this past spring during Bluebonnet season. Enjoy...

Saw this beautiful flower about 5' high one in full bloom, another right behind it just budding out. I had to take a picture.

This barrel cactus flower was a ways off and had to be hiked to but I think it was worth the walk.

There is a private road called Willow City Loop that is full of wildflowers. At one point along the road you can see this house in the valley surrounded by Bluebonnets.

Same house, same location, reverse the field of focus...

Just down the road from the last picture is this cactus. You can see the house in the background

Although not really macros, I love these too and just had to share.

My daughters behind a patch of Bluebonnets

Bluebonnets abound at a bend in the road.

My daughters again by a roadside patch of Bluebonnets.
