They were a limited run vehicle and the very things that makes it an Islander aren't there, aside from the seats. I bought my 2010 when the Islander came out and I'd like to pick one up but it would have to be proper. Sadly, this is a sport with seats at this point.
We all feel the same about "32"ish-inch tires!! It still has the factory blue accented leather steering wheel.
Rubber slush mats in Georgia? yeah right, my carpet and mats are as new, no boots have ever touched them. The black tubular sidestep from factory are as useful as the mats. I hope you find some cause to be sad about, but thanks for your concern...
The Islander Edition is a special edition of the "Sport Base" model made in 2010 with "32"ish-inch tires, Islander edition seats, rubber slush mats, black tubular sidestep and visual enhancements such as a blue accented leather steering wheel.

Nothing for you to fuss about when it comes to criticism. Everyone does what he or she wants to their Jeep. A lot of folks feel when its Limited Production, it should stay pretty close to stock or its devalued. That is what he meant. You did forget about the Sport Suspension that it originally came with. Rubicon shocks and springs...if you didn't know. Good Luck selling.
Keep the rubber side down...
What does keep the rubber side down mean?
