I have a brand new factory radio head model RES for sale. It has never been installed in a vehicle other than for operational checks.

I came upon this unit due to a lightning strike on my JKU and the insurance company required the dealership to provide me with a new radio even though I was taking the opportunity to upgrade to an after market system.

The dealer charged me over $600 for the radio.

I'm asking $300 OBO.

I adjusted the price to $300. $400 didn't seem right for a factory radio.

If it's a basic radio (no nav/ no touchscreen) then your price will be much lower. The touch radios fetch more than non-touch. I gave mine away many years ago.

Also....you may need an anti-theft code to accompany the radio. A call to your local parts dept with your radio part number as well as your VIN should yield the code.

Thanks for that. Yes, it is a basic radio. I am not in anyway stuck on the price and have no illusions that I'll make big bucks on it. If someone needs it, they're more than welcome to make me an offer, I will not be tough on the price.
