i got the discos on my X. does it suck? definately NOT.
Comforts of the gps in dash, the console, cloth seats, etc. I wheel on weekends but got 2 kids in it all week. up here in NJ waiting for what you want is not too realistic so you are more or less buying what is on the lot and doing all upgrades yourself
First of all, to all the haters, that wanna bitch about a freakin’ post script joke and ignore the meaning in the message. Maybe everyone that posts on this thing works for Jeep. I was talking about the pooooosers who put 4 inch lift kits on x packages with huge rims and never intend to take it off road.
My first CJ7 was about as bare bones as it gets, back in the good old days when you had to pull a knob out three inches to get the heat to come on.
My second jeep was a citron (what they called rescue green before they called it rescue green) 1997 first series TJ SE without air conditioning. That I beat the hell out of and even got lost in uharrie and made it out in one piece. The thing was a trooper without a lift, actually without anything but a willing young driver that was willing to explore, risk his Jeep and get totally addicted to this hobby.
Third jeep was an 2004 x package that was about as boring and dull as they come. And a waste of time to and energy to make it special.
Then the JK's came out with the best starting point to build a Jeep that may last long enough to pass down to a son. HD front Bumper, rugged ridge rear, AEV hood, no carpet, no interior plastic molding, It'd be nice if someone would make structural flat METAL fender flares and not go out of business. Oh, and I custom cut in and sealed plexi-glass into those stock T-Tops and removed every sticker, even the Rubicon ones.

Oh and about me asking how to lift a Jeep in the least expensive way. Is because I wanted to know if the community at large would talk about lift kits for Rubicons that don't mess with the sway bar disconnect and drive shaft replacements. ASS.
And for the repair man that lets people hang out with you. Good for you, I'm sure that if a Five star dealership knew about this practice Jeep may put a stop to people being happy.
The message is to the failing corp. that is JEEEEEEEP... Not for all you 30 inch rim wrangler people that want to distract people from the MESSSAGE. You know what time it is. And the only wrangler they make with two wheel drive is the very beautiful family pack four door, without the option of a truck bed.
What the hell is wrong with everyone that posted negative shit about me stating that it's not the BEST PRACTICE!!!!!!!! to put a four inch lift on stock axles. Oh I'm sorry if i offended the unsung great jeep owners that bought x packages and put dana 60's on and left that x sticker on.

STFU.
Your post script was not intended for the 2wd population or to those that don't wheel their Jeep, all of which are still Jeepers until they prove otherwise. You were taking shots at everyone that drives an X so you could feel good about yourself.
I am sorry to say, you ruined everything you said in your original post with your douche bag joke. So why would we take anything you say to heart?
The fact of the matter is you opened this can of worms and now you need to face up to the critics that are laying into you.
My bet is there are more stock Rubicons on the road that will never see dirt than there are X's with mods that will stay on pavement.
And with the exception of your bumpers being steel and helping protect the Jeep off-road, every one of your mods are purely cosmetic. Plexi-glass T-tops aren't going to do shit on the trail. Be true to yourself Nick, and admit you are a hypocrite bashing all of the folks that want to make their Jeeps their own by adding or taking off parts, when you have done next to nothing to make yours more trail worthy. A fancy fucking hood is no different than chrome door hinges or the "30 inch rim" people you talk about in your last post.
BTW I will take my 4 door X with a 3" lift, 35's and Rock Rails on stock axles and shafts over your stickerless Rubicon any day.
You may just be the biggest "poooooser" of them all by trying to be the anti poser.

u made a stupid comment (we all have at one point)... dont defend it just admit it.
