Well, I stopped in to Atlantic Motorsports today in Gaithersburg, MD to see about getting the JK Dyno'd in the next week or two. They seemed pretty surprised to see a supercharged JK. lol So next week it will be going on the Dyno and they're also going to install the Auto Meter Phantom 2 gauges, and take a look at doing my Brembos (at this point with so many let downs on these, I won't hold my breath, but since they offered to look at em I figured I'd happily let them). Now all that's left is to order the COP 4x4 Gage Pod today and wait on the gauges to come in. I went with Boost/Vacuum and Oil Pressure. I wasn't sure what 2nd gauge to get, but decided that since I have the older RIPP kit that plumbs into the oil pan, keeping an eye on that might be the most beneficial. If I decide I need more than that, I can always add some in later. I considered playing with some fiberglass and trying to fab up my own pillar pod, but decided at this point it was easier just to buy it from Camp.
I'll video the dyno pulls and hopefully will have some other videos ready to go by the end of next week as well.

Now, having had it for 3 weeks, I can say that aside from the first couple days where the shop had installed the belt wrong and prior to having the TRD fix in, it's been trouble free. I was still worried that it might go into limp mode, etc up until this weekend, where the sun finally came out and I was able to drive it and regardless of the condition it didn't give me any problems.
I'm waiting now on buttoning everything up with the gauges and the dyno tuning to give my final review of the product, but so far I'm very happy to report that most of my worries and most of the problems it seems others had with it, seem to have been in the earliest kits and don't seem to be an issue any longer.

Well, I plan on going over this in my final review, but I'll touch on it briefly the RIPP kit does an amazing job with the 3.8, but it's not a hemi. A neighbor has a Commander, which isn't much more aero-dynamic than the wrangler, so I'm going to see if I can talk him into going stop light to stop light for research purposes.
Our Green Unlimited raced a friends Range Rover Sport (NA V8) and they were fender to fender. The Range Rover lists 0-60mph as 7.5secs. So give or take we are down to 8 with our set up.
- Supercharged
- Unlimited Rubicon
- Automatic
- 33x13 on 18's
- 5.13's gears
- AEV front bumper
- Power Package
- MBRP Exhaust
- Hard top
- Hard Doors
That's completely acceptable off-the-line power for us - it didn't have a chance before the blower.

Well, my COP 4x4 Gage Pod arrived 10 mins ago. The design is really nice, but for $229 bucks (including 30 next day shipping) I have to say I was really disappointed to open my box and see this:

I had planned on painting over the carbon fiber anyway, but now I've got to use filler too to correct the flaws. Having seen the carbon fiber up close had it arrived in perfect shape I might have tried it as is. It really is a great looking piece and well worth the money if it were undamaged. Oh well, just another project in a long list of em for the JK. lol

Well, hopefully early next week I will be able to tell you just how many HP extra I'm getting with my setup after the dyno pulls.

On the brightside, it's sanded and ready for a bit of filler tomorrow and once that's done and the primer goes on it'll be like it never showed up damaged and I'll stop whining about it. lol
